Vet Assistant

I am happy to say I am a Yuma native and have lived here my whole life.  I am a fifth-generation citrus farmer and animals have always been a part of my day to day.  When I originally started my college journey I wanted to be a veterinarian, but my schooling took a different path and I ended up majoring in Psychology.  My love of animals has led me to be a 4-H leader and sheep breeder for many years, and I currently have a therapy mini-horse that I take into the hospital and any area that needs a little extra love.  I have always owned and shown horses which is one of my most favorite things.  I am so honored to be part of The Pet Clinic family as that is what we really have become.  We all work together to treat every patient as if they were our own and give our best to every pet that comes through those doors.  My once-a-week time in the clinic, away from my everyday job, allows me to keep nurturing my passion for helping animals and the positive energy they bring to our lives.  Thank you for trusting us with your furry family members.
