We ask that clients call the clinic prior to arrival.
- Our goal is to let you know when we have availability in the schedule and keep your wait time as short as possible.
- We will try to accommodate walk-ins as the schedule allows, however, for routine care like vaccines or wellness appointments we will typically request that you schedule an appointment for later in the week. For more urgent walk-ins, we may provide an estimate for care and ask that you drop off your pet so we can work on the services your pet needs without having you wait in the clinic.
- Our schedule has 2 available emergency slots every day, we ask that clients still call ahead to the clinic and let us know what is going on with your pet. This allows us to get equipment and supplies prepared for your pet’s arrival so we can get to work as quickly as possible.
We typically have same week availability!
- Please give the clinic at call at (928)315-6600 and our staff will work on finding an appointment that works best for you!
- Some appointments, like surgeries, may be scheduled out slightly further as those appointments require more time and staff dedicated to the care of your pet.
We do offer a selection of payment plans!
- Both of these providers offer financing options for Veterinary care and can make visits more affordable.
- Please ask our team about these options at your next appointment.
If your pet is on a long term medication for a condition such as:
-
Heart disease
-
Diabetes
-
Hyperthyroid / Hypothyroid
-
Seizures
-
Cushing's / Addison's
We request that you place your refill request while you still have about 7 days worth of medication remaining.
- This will allow us to order more to the clinic if needed or leave time for shipping if you order through an online pharmacy. Our goal is to make sure your pets medications do not get interrupted!
If your pet is on non-urgent medications such as:
-
Apoquel
-
Medicated ear drops
- Flea and Tick prevention
We ask that you allow 2 business days for medication refills.
- This allows staff to get refill requests confirmed by the doctor and filled for your pet.
If you pet is doing well on the medications:
- Once your pet is established at the clinic and doing well on the current medication, please give the clinic a call at (928)315-6600 and our staff can schedule a Technician Appointment for your pet to receive a brief physical and a booster dose of the medication. Your pet should only need to see the Veterinarian every 6-12 months, as long as they are doing well on the current medication. Any changes to the medication or treatment protocol will require an appointment with the Veterinarian.
If you have questions, concerns, or feel the medication is not working:
- Please call the clinic at (928)315-6600 so our staff can schedule you an appointment with the Veterinarian to further discuss alternative therapy options or what the next steps are.
- We do not offer grooming services at The Pet Clinic; however, Yuma has a number of Pet Grooming Services available!
- Some of our clients use these local businesses
We do offer daytime emergency services.
- We reserve dedicated urgent-care slots each day and do everything possible to triage and treat emergency cases during our regular business hours. If your pet needs immediate medical attention during the day, please call us right away at (928) 315-6600.
We currently do not offer after hours emergency care.
- We are working to add Veterinarians and staff members to the practice so that we can sustainably expand our hours of operation.
- If we ever recommend seeking care at a specialized or overnight emergency facility outside the area, it is to ensure your pet receives the 24/7 monitoring, advanced equipment, or continuous care they need for the best possible outcome.
